Merry Christmas from the Kempers!

We had a wonderful Christmas (Part 2 & 3). We woke up (for the first time) in our own home to a treeful of gifts from Santa. Lucas got lots of Thomas the Train pieces: tracks, trains, and accessories. He ADORED setting up the tracks

with Daddy and Choo-Chooing through the living room.

Santa also brought him Dog and Bear books - a favorite from a recent library visit - and Matchbox racing carpet. The sound of squealing two-year old filled the apartment with glee... a very exciting time for us. :o)

Mommy & Daddy received some wonderful gifts and words from friends and family. We were reminded how far our family spans - from New York to Texas to Virginia back to Tennessee. :o)

We traveled to Aunt Shannon's house to see Lainey, Bob, Gran,

Gus and the Knights. Lucas LOVED spending time with his cousins. It is definitely awesome to live only an hour and a half from family instead of 7 - 8 hours away. At the Knights', Lucas helped cousin Sara decorate yummy sugar cookies.... though I'm pretty sure he enjoyed eating the frosting more than the actual decorating.

Christmas night we traveled to Chattanooga to prepare for the annual Wally's Breakfast Spectacular.... where we promptly saw Santa snacking as we left. Fun times with the Kempers / Knights / Fauls / Morris' ... girls dominating in Corn-hole (homemade by the Morris') and napping sporadically through the house. All-in-all an amazing holiday.

As if it couldn't get any better, these Kempers get to see Uncle Wuss and Mimi in two days! And Mommy gets another week off before going back to work, while Lucas spends two more days at school. Joyful! <3
