Touchdownnnn Tennessee!

We have made it (albeit months ago) back to the Volunteer State. :o) We are settled nicely into our beautiful condo on the west side of Nashville, and happily finding our way through this wonderful new adventure.

I'm working as a Reading Specialist / English teacher at a private school for students with learning differences. Long (and exciting) days that are never the same... I am outside of my comfort zone, stretched, and shaken daily.

Korey is an AmeriCorps member (sound familiar??) for the Coalition for Healthy Aging through Vanderbilt. Fun and exciting times -- sort of. He's getting great experience in Non-Profit (the goal) but the income leaves a bit
to be desired ;o)

Lucas goes to daycare at my school.
With all sorts of magnificent "toys"... like "Howsees" named "Skip" and "Sophieeee!" The boy of few words (literally, he MAYBE said 20 words at 2) can never stop talking about those "horsies". The magic that dances behind those eyes is contagious - the Farmhouse is his favorite place in the world.

(The beautiful bruise between his eyes comes at the price of being a curious 2-year-old). That stool didn't know what hit it. ;o)

Let's see... what else has happened since last we posted...

Oh...
We tied the knot! :o)

We traveled back to ol' Dan-Vegas to say our I-Do's with our wonderful family and friends. It was a stressful whirlwind of a trip and weekend - and completely enchanting. Perfect in every conceivable way. :o)

For now we're enjoying the slow-down that comes with the holiday, and getting ready to travel to celebrate our first Kemper Christmas. <3

The ::goal:: is to be much more post-productive in 2012. In fact, I have a very handy guide for things to keep me consistent on my Pinterest board (my latest obsession). Here's hoping it works!
