A half a day at home with Lucas means lots of paint, bubbles, and puddle jumping. This little boy is all-go, no-quit and this Mommy loves to play (...usually...) :o)
We may not have had snow in Nashville, but we were sure to make our own fun. We spent about 10 minutes blowing colorful bubbles outside in the 50-degree weather... before Mommy got tired of hiding the camera from the blue paint. Washable as it may have been, the Canon probably doesn't do well in the washing machine...
After bubbles outside (and some well deserved puddle jumping), Lucas was in NEED of a bath. To coax this temperamental toddler, we filled the whirlpool with sudsy bubbles. It was the most glorious 15 minutes of baby-quiet of the day.... and a glimmer at what a "white" Christmas should feel like. We called it quits when Lucas attempted throwing these balls-o-white at Mommy from the tub. :o)
In other magnificent news I have begun to dabble in shooting / adjusting in RAW. Hooray! Here's a glimpse of the first edited photos. Still a way to go, and much to learn... Surely this means better picture taking from now on... and more "Turn it OFF, Mommy" from the two year old.
